Signs that you may have termites

• Wood damage - termites eat wood from the inside out.  If wood is tapped and sounds holllow, this can indicate a termite infestation.
•  Uneven or Bubbling Paint - can indicate the property has water damage or termites.
• Frass - droplets of wood pellets in the interior or exterior of the property indicates drywood termites may be present. 
• Mud tubes - often found near the property's foundation and built by Subterranean termites which are the most destructive of the species.  The mud tubes provides moisture while the termites navigate between the colony and source of food.
• Swarmers - after the last freeze, swarmers leave their nest to mate and search for a new location to start a colony which could include your property.  Look for discarded wings near doors and windowsills.
